During a special trip to a large Asian market, I was excited to find Duck hearts and feet (which were very reasonably priced)! I just wish we lived closer. haha

Duck is one protein I haven't ever had the chance to feed. I hope I get a hold of some one day!

Did you stock up while you were there?

I only got a few pounds since the cart was already getting full with other things (and the freezer at home is getting full too). :(

We used to get duck feet all the time in Denver. Dogs loved them as treats!

I'm thinking of adding (my poor husband!) more birds to our flock (when we get one) at the property. There's enough land there can be pens for everything on its own if need be. Not sure the boys will be out there when we have all of our animals out there, but the next dog will have a fabulous rotation.

I, myself, would love to try dUck.

I wish we had land for livestock! That's our dream :) I would definitely keep sheep, goats, some ducks... and maybe chickens if I could tolerate them (I don't care for their attitudes).
