I see some folks use slippery elm for digestive problems and also probiotics... Curious if anyone can tell me a little bit about them, more so about the slippery elm...

how are these used with raw?
are there benefits to them?
is it a long term used rememdy?
can it help a pup with a poor digestive system?

I know a lot of people who have used it and swear by it, but I personally have not. From my understanding, it's just a quick treatment and not used long term. But usually, for digestive issues adding more bone is all that's needed. I don't think slippery elm cures the issue, but it could help an issue under control. I'm pretty sure, long term frequent use could have the opposite affect of what you want.  I don't think I would use it unless you have a seemingly long term loose poop issue that added bone isn't helping.
