I'll have to take a photo but we have this flyer with recipes for home made dog food. On the other side of the page is a list of what not to feed your pet.  Number 1 is "Raw meat - This will cause DEATH!"

LOL! I have heard plenty of "raw will make your dog sick" but never just straight up "death"! WOW!

Wow, I guess my dogs (and a bunch of foster dogs) are actually ghosts or zombies.

I told the Dr I work with that I plan on feeding Raw. She gave me the most awful look and talk on salmonella and diarrhea...so forth. What do you normally tell your vet? Lol

You have to get a picture, this is so hilarious.  DEATH!  Wouldn't that flyer make a great placemat to feed on?

I tread on thin ice working at a vet clinic- so to "feel" them out I just say I feed a home prepared food. Which to most people means cooked but at least it's a way to get the subject out.

That's a good idea, the local vet that I take my cat to I know would spazz over raw, this year they didn't ask diet but in the past I have just said a "grain free wet".  16+ year old cat, 3 years on raw, her bloodwork last month was perfect.
