This is just more of curiosity than trying to diagnose a dog from a picture lol but does anyone have any ideas what this could be or if it was an allergic reaction to something? I know it couldn't have been something he ate cuz we've been on straight chicken with him, although he does try to eat the shredded bark and leaves and branches..and bushes and tree trunks... but he's been doing that since day 1 :P

I came home one night  last week and he had these 'hives' just around his muzzle and a few around his eyes (his eyes were extremely red if you cant tell) I popped a benny in him at night and he went to bed, they were mostly gone the next morning but i popped another just to be on the safe side and they were gone.

This is what happens when my husband 'watches the dogs'

Definitely a reaction to something. Bug bite of some kind, or maybe a sting?
